Appointments & Safety
APPOINTMENTS: We recommend scheduling your appointment a least 1-2 weeks ahead. You may text (quickest response), email, or call and leave a message, to make your appointment. Please be specific and include any additional services in your request that may add extra time to your session. We will ask for your contact information, a few health screening questions, if you are allergic to any oils, and will confirm your appointment. Please arrive promptly and freshly showered. You will be met outside on the front porch for your health screening questions, and to sign a waiver. Shoes will be left at the door, and you will be given hand sanitizer. Face masks are only required while you are face up on the table, not face-down. Please bring your own face-mask to wear. If you do not have one, a disposable mask will be provided for you. If it is your first visit, please be aware that the first 15 minutes will be used for your new client medical history, consent to treat form, liability waiver, and brief discussion. (This initial 15 minutes is not part of your massage session.) Each year, we ask that clients update their contact information, medical history, consent to treat form, and liability waiver. *We do not share your private information. It is protected by law. You have the right to refuse these forms, but we cannot treat you without them.
We require 24 hour minimum notice to cancel and reschedule an appointment. Please reschedule ASAP if you suspect any kind of illness at all. If an appointment is missed more than twice without advanced notice, you may be dismissed as a client.
PAYMENT: Payment is due at time of service. We accept cash, check, Venmo, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We cannot make change for cash.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
Given the close nature of this therapy, and that this is a health care setting, we require that you:
1. Wear a face mask while face up, not face-down on the massage table.
2. Are completely asymptomatic with no current or recent contagious illnesses.
If you are feeling ill in any way or have had a fever or any flu-like symptoms, including fever, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, coughing, nausea, dysentery, chest pressure, shortness of breath, or unusual fatigue with aches and pains, we ask that you do not make an appointment for at least 7 days from onset and have not experienced any symptoms for at least 7 days. If you have been exposed to anyone ill, have recently traveled out-of-state or internationally, or recently received a Covid-19 vaccination, we ask that you wait a minimum of 7 days before your scheduled appointment.
BE ASSURED:
Your vaccinated therapist will be wearing a face mask, and apron during your massage. Disposable face cradle liners and disposable drinking cups will also be used. Our sheets, massage towels, and aprons will be bagged, washed in hot water, in some cases, bleached, after each client. Germicidal hospital-grade disinfectant is applied to highly touched surfaces in waiting room, massage room, pedi chair, restroom, and door handles, pens, clipboard, and IPad, after every client. We schedule time between each client to ensure cleanliness.
